When trying to come up with a blog name I wanted something that would be catchy, something that would be able to transfer to various different outlets (TPT,
instagram, and Facebook), and I wanted something that was ME. Enter An Eclectic Educator. Why? Well, first I want you to take a moment and read the definition of eclectic (according to google).

That's me! I am going to start my second year teaching 5th grade in 12 days (
Eeek!). I am constantly pulling from different sources (
thank you TPT) and reading as much as I can from a diverse pool of fellow educator blogs! My teaching style is eclectic.
Not only is my teaching style eclectic, I want this blog to be eclectic too! I
plan will be posting about different teaching strategies, different resources, and different tools that I implement in my classroom.
